Whilst many of my colleagues at GCU were off enjoying the long bank holiday, I had a very busy and exciting end to last week in the form of not one, but two requests for help from international media organisations.
The first was a request from Newsweek to contribute to this article on the environmental impacts of fracking: https://www.newsweek.com/how-does-fracking-affect-environment-1712093
And the second was for an interview with Xinhua News about the cost-of-living crisis, which you can find here: https://english.news.cn/20220604/0d6bf784d89f4c3a9fe1ff218101d0b4/c.html
On the latter, I should be clear that Xinhua have reported what I said almost word-for-word - notably more accurately than some western media outlets I've contributed to - and that I received no payment or other compensation for the interview.
Many thanks to Aristos at Newsweek and Larry at Xinhua News 😃
