New article: Eliminating fuel poverty in a post-Covid world

EPRi has been trying to stay out of the media furore around the Covid crisis because I have a feeling that there are going to be quite a few scientists thrown under buses before we're out of lockdown, but that doesn't mean we're not busy preparing for a post-Covid world, so Robin persuaded me out of hiding to write this for Source: https://sourcenews.scot/eliminating-fuel-poverty-in-a-post-covid-world/

  1. I think medium to long term monitoring of changes brought about by Covid19 is required before shifts in policies, definitions (e.g. what is energy poverty?) are finalized.

A good point was raised in the article were savings from travel costs, laundry, eating out etc could be regarded extra disposable income to families, hence impacting the "10%" in the E.Poverty definition. However, what is the prospect of the current work-from-home regime remaining post Covid19? This is certainly an interesting space to watch. Thanks for the nice read.
