I think medium to long term monitoring of changes brought about by Covid19 is required before shifts in policies, definitions (e.g. what is energy poverty?) are finalized.
ReplyDeleteA good point was raised in the article were savings from travel costs, laundry, eating out etc could be regarded extra disposable income to families, hence impacting the "10%" in the E.Poverty definition. However, what is the prospect of the current work-from-home regime remaining post Covid19? This is certainly an interesting space to watch. Thanks for the nice read.
